Renewable Energy

Holygate Farm, Stapleford Farm Estate
Biomass Generator at Stapleford Farm Estate

Here at Stapleford we are committed to sourcing and investing in viable projects within the renewable sector to ensure where possible our impact on the environment is reduced.

In recent years we have invested in two large solar installations to ensure most of our energy on the farm is self-produced and whatever is not used is then sold back to the National Grid. We have also installed one large Biomass boiler and one air source heat pump while refurbishing our residential property to provide heat from renewable sources.

We will continue to investigate and appraise any new opportunity within this sector, whether that be a Slurry Cooling System for our new 4000 Pig Unit or a large scale Solar Farm, to ensure here at Stapleford we are doing as much as we can to benefit the environment for the future.

If you would like any further information on any of our renewable projects, then please do not hesitate to contact the Estate Office.
